The water stop acts as a resting place for both boat and human. Carefully placed on site, this temporal shelter is manipulatable to almost any condition, not unfamiliar to Michigan. Sited on the Au-sable river in a setting on the river bend, the water stop has exciting views both up and down river. The water stop acts as an interim point between water and woods. The architecture can change form according to each user and use. Visual and physical separations are achieved by stereotomic works and a manicured landscape.
