Urban housing strategy that uses the surrounding urban density, existing site condition, and views of the post-industrial city of Detroit to inspire its design. The architecture reacts to these views with a subtle shift in section which allows each unit to be sheltered by a mass of trees, lift above and gaze upon the distant city, or look down thru the channel at the passing barges or early morning joggers.
