This strategy involves the manipulation of the unit to incorporate the tree. Maintaining the sectional shifts that provide view and relationship to the distant city and surrounding area, the units adapt to bring an Elm tree into each unit. A further development of the mixed use space is placed at specific moments within the channel, at the pedestrian bridge, and areas that correspond to existing retail or mixed use.
